"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
The Teachers and Staff of FCCS
Each one of our staff members at Faith love and fear the Lord and want to serve Him well. He has called us to this school to share His love with these children and to work as partners with our families in raising them up to know the Truth and Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Christ-centered curriculum offers a Christian worldview for students to learn how to apply their knowledge in this fallen world. His ministry through Faith Community Christian School has blossomed over the years and continues to thrive!
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Teacher - Mrs. Jeanne Pibal
Greg and I married in 2003 and moved to Fort Atkinson so I could teach at Faith.
I was born again in college. God used the ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship to bring me to a saving knowledge of Him.
I previously taught K-2nd grade at Faith from 2003-2010. I have also taught preschool, summer school in the public school for eight years, and worked as a student learning aide for 1st, 4th and 5th grade in the public school. I homeschooled our children the last two years, and was a Classical Conversations tutor for our homeschool group.
God brought us officially together as a family in Nov. 2014 when we adopted Carmen and Enrique. We fostered them for about a year and a half prior to the adoption.
We enjoy swimming and hiking as a family. I enjoy baking, music, playing games and getting together with other people. My husband is on the worship team and is currently serving as a deacon. Our children enjoy many different activities including sports and art.
3rd - 5th Grade Teacher and Administrator - Mrs. Lisa Hawkins
My husband Dan and I have the privilege of raising 5 amazing daughters that range in age from 10-22 years old. We have attended Faith Community Church for the past 17 years, taking advantage of all of the youth activities offered.
Our 3 youngest children attend FCCS and we absolutely love the opportunity for them to thrive here. I earned my Early Childhood Education degree and started working as a day care teacher in Madison before becoming the Director of a large day care center in Fort Atkinson. Once our first daughter was born the decision was made to open a state licensed family day care in our home. I ran that daycare for 6 years before I made the decision to focus on our children as they approached their school age years. My next adventure was to homeschool our 2 oldest girls until they entered middle school.
The past two years I have been honored to be teaching in a classroom here at FCCS. This year in addition to teaching, I will be serving as the Administrator. I look forward to having time to master my craft as I learn right along side of everyone in the school.
Together we will grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus. I sincerely look forward to the opportunity to serve at FCCS this year!
Teacher (Middle School)- Miss Anne Uridil
I grew up in a Christian home in southwest Wisconsin. I was saved at a young age-during a VBS week. The Lord convicted me of my sin and used my mom to lead me to the Lord later that day.
I was baptized as a teenager to show that I wanted to use my life the way He saw fit. I went to Bible College and graduated with a degree in Bible and Elementary Education. I served in Carolina, Puerto Rico for 18 years before the Lord led me back to Wisconsin to work at Faith.
I enjoy teaching very much and pray that the Lord will help me as I minister to the students He gives me.
9th - 12th Grade High School Teacher - Mrs. Christine Strauss
I have been aware of the mercy and of the free gift of grace that the good Lord has given me since I was 6 years old. I knew I wanted to walk with the Lord at a very young age, and He has always brought me back to the straight path that is His. I have been married to my husband, Scot, for 18 years and we have four wonderful children. We moved to Fort Atkinson in 2019 to be closer to our church family, here at Faith Community Church, and to be more involved with ministry here. It has been a blessing to see God working in His Body.
I love to learn, myself, and have found that the gift that the Lord has blessed me with allow same to share with those that I serve. In 2016 we decided to homeschool our children. We attended Classical Conversations, where I tutored for 2 years. When we moved to Fort Atkinson, my children attended FCCS. I then volunteered as the Art teacher here at Faith. That led to an opportunity to sit on the School Board for a year. I then took the position as the High School teacher. This is my second year teaching in the High School, and every day I get to spend with these young people makes my heart burst with joy!
God is good. All the time. He is good. It's been an honor to serve the Lord in the many ways He has allowed me, and to serve the families that attend as well.
"being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ," Philippians 1:6
