Senior Pastor - Rusty Lyon
Pastor Rusty Lyon began ministry at Faith Community Church in the fall of 2015. Although born and raised in the Milwaukee area, he had been a Senior Pastor of two churches in California (Kingsburg: 14 years; and Turlock: 15 years). With 30 years of Senior Pastor experience, Rusty’s ministry is marked by a practical, hands-on preaching of the Word of God, a genuine love for people, and living out a lifestyle that warmly invites people to follow Christ. He married the love of his life, Karin (Anderson) in 1977. He has two adult children, and four grandchildren. Apart from the ministry, Rusty enjoys sports of all kinds. After playing two years of small college football, he has coached high school football for 27 years; he loves NASCAR, works out of the local fitness club, and even enjoys the sport he doesn’t play very well- golf!
Pastor Rusty graduated from Northwestern College (Roseville, MN) in 1980, and completed a Master’s Degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL (1984). A passion for Jesus Christ and a commitment to the Word of God inspires his personal and preaching ministry. Email Pastor Rusty

Adult Discipleship Pastor - Dennis Dale
- We came to FCC in 2017. Most of my ministry experience when a became a believer started follower of Jesus in 9th grade was centered on Youth age. Over 25 years I served in youth ministry in multiple settings, states, churches, and para church ministries. I began to see my focus shift toward Adult Discipling and was willing to trust the Lord to lead me, my wife Sara and our two kids into a ministry that serves more specifically adults. My Son, Ayden was going into 5th Grade and my Daughter, Ansley, into 8th grade at the time of our arrival here. The both found dear friends that they could experience those big changes with, like moving into Middle and High School. The Children’s and Youth ministry at FCC was what they needed and they grew much spiritually. I love the comradery that exists among our fellow pastors, staff and leaders and see the benefits of our mutual focus on the Gospel and spiritual maturity of those in our church, community and world. In 2026, Sara and I are learning what “empty nesting” looks like. Ayden is pursuing his education at one of UW’s campuses. Ansley is getting ready to experience life in union with another person. Very thankful for the privilege and joy I have serving in the role of Adult Discipleship. If someone doesn’t know Jesus yet, I trust God to reveal the truth about salvation. If someone is wanting to know more about God’s heart, we seek ways to get them deeper into studying what His Word says about Himself. If someone wants to serve the Lord and use their gifts for His glory, I help get them plugged in at FCC. Email Dennis

From there he started his ministry journey as a volunteer youth director in Waukesha (2011-2013) and moved on to a part-time position at First United Methodist Church from (2013-2017).
